Several years back this was a smaller issue, but today it is a very important piece of information that should be included in all video game pages in Wikipedia. Who are you kidding? Creative Assembly lost me as a customer because of this requirement for Steam. For Medieval 2 and previous Total War games, I could take a thumb drive to the county library (with high speed Internet) and download patches, etc for the games. I live out in the boonies where no cable provider will ever be able to afford to hook me up for high speed Internet. It says so on the box in VERY small print, which I only discoverd after purchusing. It should really say in the article that the game requires steam to play. ![]()
